A surprise this Wednesday, June 3rd, two days before the presentation of the list of participants for the Rally Vosges Grand Est, the fourth round of the French Asphalt Rally Championship, is scheduled for June 12-14. Julien Ingrassia, the most decorated French co-driver in history, will be competing in the event in a... Alpine The A290 Rallye is 100% electric… behind the wheel, not in the co-driver's seat. Emma Bonnemort will have the responsibility of navigating for the eight-time World Rally Champion, who is no stranger to driving, having notably participated in the 2023 Rallye Terre de Lozère with Gilles de Turckheim as his co-driver, all in a Renault Clio Rally5. The two men also shared this car last winter at the Cévennes Race Track (Alès). However, this will be Julien Ingrassia's first time starting a CFR Asphalt event behind the wheel. For the teams ofAlpine Racing will also involve the commissioning of an A290 Rallye VIP: Julien Ingrassia will therefore be the first celebrity to have the pleasure of driving it and other prestigious names could also try the experience later in the year.

Vosges Grand Est Rally, land of electric rallying

The Vosges Grand Est Rally will host the second round of the Trophy Alpine The A290 Rally, which kicked off last March at the Rallye Le Touquet – Pas-de-Calais where Melvin Rabilloud and Enzo Mahinc emerged victorious, is back. Committed for several years to a commitment to energy transition, the organizers of the Rallye Vosges Grand Est will also host, as they have for several years, the electric Opel cars of the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup, the new name for the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup, which this year features Opel Mokka GSE Rally cars instead of the older Opel Corsas.

In this competition, the winner of Rallye Jeunes 2026, Tom Dufour, is involved and last weekend, with Alex Dubois as co-driver, took second place in the opening round in Veldhoven, Netherlands.
