The French Rally Championship 2nd Division resumes in Florac and Baccarat

Florac, in Lozère, and Baccarat, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, are hosting two rounds of the French Rally Championship 2nd Division this weekend. A unique feature of this championship is that it will have a total of three double-header events this season.

The French Rally Championship 2nd Division resumes in Florac and Baccarat

This May 1st weekend marks the return of the French Rally Championship 2nd Division. After the Ronde de la Giraglia was put on hold last April due to the blockade of the island's ports by fishermen, and its rescheduled date (October 23rd to 25th) has already been announced, two events on this calendar will take place this weekend. This is one of the unique features of the French Rally Championship 2nd Division: there will be three double-headers this season, the first being this one, and the second will be next weekend with the... Rally Ain-Jura and the Dieppe Rally, while the last event will be the Montagne Noire Rally and the Tour Auto de La Réunion, from July 23rd to 26th. In fact, starting this weekend, the field is split between the Lozère Rally in Florac and the Lorraine Rally in Baccarat. However, the championship leader has entered the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée region. These two events, in addition to the French Rally Championship 2nd Division, will also count towards their respective regional championships, allowing crews to score points towards qualification for the French Rally Cup Final.

Lozère Rally: Jordan Berfa on a mission against the locals
