Rhône-Charbonnières Rally: Victory for Raphaël Astier – Denis Giraudet

A completely crazy and historic ending to this Rally Rhône-Charbonnières. After regaining the overall lead with one special stage remaining, Raphaël Astier – Denis Giraudet (Porsche The 992 GT+ drivers secured their first joint victory in the French Rally Championship (CFR), bringing a Porsche victory for the first time since the 2011 Rallye de France – Alsace, won by Gilles Nantet, while Denis Giraudet returned to winning ways… something he hadn't tasted since the 2015 Critérium des Cévennes with Yoann Bonato! Indeed, the driver from Isère finished second overall with his co-driver Benjamin Boulloud and their Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.

CHL Sport Auto achieved a very good result in the Teams Championship, as the podium was completed by Hugo Margaillan – Mathieu Coppa in the Hyundai i20N Rally2. The team's other Hyundai, driven by Réhane Gany and Franck Le Floch, finished 4th overall, while the VIP Enjolras Race entry, driven by Lucas Darmezin and Charlyne Quartini, concluded the rally in 5th position. The top 10 was completed by Ghislain Barbier and Yoann Bouchet (Porsche 992 GT+), Benjamin Stirling and Florence Stirling (Citroën C3 Rally2), Jonathan Hirschi and Mélanie Tendille (Citroën C3 Rally2), and Eric Rousset and Christophe Sauce (Citroën C4).
