Third at the Rhône-Charbonnières Rally, Hugo Margaillan climbs onto the podium once again

After their second position at Rally Le Touquet – Pas-de-Calais, Hugo Margaillan and Mathieu Coppa (Hyundai i20N Rally2) have once again achieved a great result at the Rhône-Charbonnières Rally by taking 3rd position behind Raphaël Astier – Denis Giraudet and Yoann Bonato – Benjamin Boulloud. "Overall, the weekend went rather well.", the Var-based driver confided after the race. “We’re still lacking a bit of pace compared to Yoann Bonato, admittedly, but I’m pleased to see that we’ve set similar times to Eric Camilli’s last year: when you remember that he finished only four tenths of a second behind Bonato, it’s promising.”"I'm very positive," said the former French Junior Rally Champion. As the closest pursuer to the two leading crews, he has no reason to be ashamed of his performance and took the opportunity to pocket valuable championship points.

After the Rhône-Charbonnières Rally, Hugo Margaillan is focused on his goal of victory.

"Raphaël and Denis's victory works in our favor because they take points from Yoann and Benjamin; it's up to us to increase our pace and find little extra tricks to try and win at least one."He specified, keeping the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale in his sights as his main rival. At the Rhône-Charbonnières Rally, Hugo Margaillan also benefited from the presence, until the finish, of his teammates Réhane Gany and Franck Le Floch, who had been forced to retire at Le Touquet. “Having three cars at the front will be our strength this season. Throughout the weekend, we worked quite a bit with Réhane so that he could best understand how to get the most out of the Hyundai, and his times were quite interesting.”"That's a good sign," he commented regarding the second car of the CHL Sport Auto team, which finished 4th.
