More than 300 km timed in Estonia

Having become in a few seasons a notable destination in the world championship of the discipline, Estonia will be this season the 7e appointment. Next July (13-17), the city of Tartu located 180 km southeast of the capital Tallinn will once again serve as the nerve center. For this 3e edition, the Estonians have remained true to their philosophy. Among the 24 special stages (12 different routes), none measures more than 24,35 km and this represents a total of 314,26 km. The program for this real sprint will look a lot like that of 2021 with the shakedown on Thursday morning and an opening section in the evening at a time when the mosquitoes, very numerous in the region, begin their meal. Variations are introduced, such as the shift of times from Saturday to Friday, but overall the ES which are starting to be well known (Peipsiääre, Raanitsa, Elva, Otepää…) are in the list. The partly artificial Power Stage which caused debate last year was replaced by a long sector (Kambka ES21/24) of 15,95 km.
