70th Mont-Blanc Rally Morzine: press conference statements

Sébastien Loeb : « We are here to have fun, but to have fun we have to attack. We are here to race. Ludovic Godard offered me to race his car. It is a fun car to drive, I was able to test the propulsion in the wet during shakedown. We did some good recce, I am impatient to discover the car in the race and see where we are. »

Pierre Gosselin, President of the FFSA: « I am very happy to be in Morzine. There are a lot of people, it is a very good organization. I am happy to see Yoann Bonato and Benjamin Boulloud again at this French championship (editor's note: after their accident at Vosges Grand Est), to have Sébastien Loeb here... Thanks to all the volunteers and the stewards who are at the service of everyone's passion. »

Isabelle Garreau, president of the organizing committee: « Everything is in place. Everything has been put in place gradually. We are going to have good weather. I wanted to thank the municipality of Morzine, without them there would be no rallies, thank you also to the surrounding municipalities and to all the volunteers. »

Emma Chalvin, FFSA female motorsport ambassador driver: « This is my first season in rally, I come from Rallycross. We prepared well for the rally, it's the only rally my dad had the chance to do so I can't wait to be at the start. We made good progress throughout the year with my co-driver. The terrain will be new for me, except for the Vosges, we've known fairly flat terrain. »

Josep Ferrer, trophy coordinator Renault Sport: « I have good news to announce to you, the Clio Trophy is being renewed for 2025 and 2026. In 2025, as in 2024 with the two trophies on dirt and asphalt, in 2026 we do not yet know in what configuration. »

Pablo Sarrazin: « This is my first time with a Rally2 and it's a discovery of Mont Blanc. It's a chance for me, at 18, to drive with such a car, I'll have to go step by step and learn for next year. »

Laurent Pellier: « It's a new experience. It's been a while since I had the opportunity to ride on asphalt in CFR. I'm thinking a lot about Hugo Margaillan, still convalescent, and who I'm replacing this weekend. I can't wait to see what it can be like. »

Romain Di-Fante: « Fortunately we know the rally but we are going to learn the category. »

Eric Mauffrey: « This edition is going to be very competitive. Mont Blanc is always a beautiful rally. »

Patrick Rouillard: « The line-up is exceptional. We're signing up for a Top 10 right away. »

Cedric Robert: « We are going to do our race for the team championship and the 2RM and I thank Sébastien Loeb for his presence, it is always a plus. »

Sarah Rumeau: « As I always say I will give the best of myself. I really want to be in the Top 10, but when I see the starting list I tell myself that it will be complicated. »

Simon Jean-Joseph: « We all have a common denominator, it's passion. My only goal is to please myself, I don't have the training anymore but I still have the passion. I hope we'll have fun and we'll please the public. »

Eric Camilli: « There is a high level this weekend. We prepared well during the summer. It is a great satisfaction to be at the top of the championship. »

Léo Rossel: « I'm back from vacation with my batteries recharged. There are at least 10 of us playing for the podium. We're going to give it our all, we're still in the running for the championship, I hope the battle will be great until the end. »

Anthony Fotia: « We had two difficult rallies, we will try to find a positive spiral. We had great tests with the team. »

Jean-Baptiste Francheschi: « We are leading the Michelin Trophy, that's great. It's incredible to be next to Seb Loeb. »

Yoann Bonato: « Thank you all for all the messages received. Thank you to the Federation for the help with all the steps that had to be taken after the accident in Vosges. The rehabilitation was intense, my wife who is a physiotherapist took great pleasure in taking my neck and back apart for 45 days. This weekend we will see where we are. »

Raphael Astier: « I am happy to get my hands back on the wheel of theAlpine A110 GT+. It's nice to have Seb Loeb with us and I find Denis Giraudet in great shape at my side. »

Anthony Cosson: « Given the list of registered participants, we had to be there! It's a rather advantageous rally for the Porsche but we must not pretend. We also made a top car for Simon (Jean-Joseph) »

Quentin Gilbert: « This is my favourite rally, like many others I think. We had a good test rally in the Vosges. I am very happy to have Seb (Loeb) back in the category. »
