THEAlpine by Sébastien Loeb for Mont-Blanc

During a career that began in 1997, Sébastien Loeb had the opportunity to drive racing cars. If it has already happened to evolve on a circuit with propulsion (Porsche, Ferrari…), however, he has never yet driven one in rally. This 76^e The Mont-Blanc rally will therefore be a great first.

On this event where he enchanted the public in 2021 with his Peugeot 306 Max (6^e, 1 Mt), the nine-time world champion will discover theAlpine which he will share with his partner Laurène Godey. As every time he performs, his car will be decorated with his main sponsors. While the livery of the famous 306 had left some doubtful, this time we will have to appreciate the gray and wait for the real spoiler of the GT+ to see the result...

With the arrival of the Dacia driver, the GT group will be superb to follow, since Raphaël Astier, Cédric Robert and Quentin Gilbert should also compete on A110s, while Simon Jean-Joseph will seek to win on special stages that he likes both with a Porsche 911 GT3 that he has been using for two races (1 victory).

Mont-Blanc played an important role in the career of Sébastien Loeb. It was on these slopes that he set his first best time in the French championship in 2000 at the wheel of a Renault Megane Kit-Car. If the weather is good, will he be able to write down the name ofAlpine on the list since 1977? Seb would thus join Bernard Béguin (A310, 1977), Bruno Saby (Berlinette, 1976) or Jacques Henry (Berlinette, 1974) among the winning “alpinists” in Morzine.

First^e round of the calendar will take place over two days (September 6 and 7). It consists of 198,98 timed km divided into 14 stages.
