First on the road, Laurent Pellier (Fabia RS Rally2-2C Yacco RS) knew that the sweeping phenomenon could penalize him. Nevertheless, the Skoda driver mastered the elements by setting three fastest times on this second stage. Efficient and fast, Pellier left no chance to his rivals. At the wheel of a car he is new to, Pellier, co-driven by Kévin Bronner, started the season in the best possible way with a victory that allows him to take the lead in the French Championship.
Incisor at the beginning of rally, Emmanuel Gascou (Fabia RS Rally2-AMD Motorsport) saw that he could not keep up with the pace set by Pellier and secure an important podium for the rest of the season. The Emmanuel Gascou-Gilles de Turckheim duo showed that they had the speed to challenge for victory.
The final step of the podium was fiercely contested. Third at the start of the final loop, Sarah Rumeau (C3 Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport Iron Lynx) was unable to contain the attacks of Pablo Sarrazin (C3 Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport Iron Lynx), who secured his second podium in the French Gravel Rally Championship, giving him confidence for the upcoming events.
Charles Munster (i20 N Rally2) completed the top five in this first round of the season. Driving a first-generation Fabia R5, Cédric Rabasse finished sixth ahead of Pierre Ragues (Fabia RS Rally5-2C Yacco RS), who set the fastest time in the final stage of the rally.
Tom Pellerey (Clio Rally3) took the lead in the Rally3 category ahead of Mickaël Lobry (Clio Rally3). The category podium was completed by Steven Bossard, who was new to the Clio Rally3. In the Clio Trophy category, Malagasy Mika Rasoamaromaka (Clio Rally5) dominated the race from start to finish and won the two-wheel drive classification.
