Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) had to make up more than 6,1 seconds to hope to win. The Gardois did achieve a scratch in the final special (SS 13), but he only managed to gain 0,8 seconds from Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil), his PH Sport teammate.
In the lead since the first special, Eric Camilli wins his second rally of the season and remains able to fight for the title against Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) during the last two rallies of the season (Cévennes and Var).
Third in this rally, Yoann Bonato recognized the speed of his opponents and took advantage of his third place to maintain the lead in the French Championship before the two big chunks of the season.
Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia RS Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport) finishes his discovery of the new Skoda at the foot of the podium. The Nice native can now prepare for his next appearances in WRC2.
At the finish!
After a big attack in the last special, Anthony Cosson (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup) also took advantage of the puncture of Raphaël Astier (A110 Rally-CHL Sport Auto) to win the two-wheel drive classification.
After some struggles during the first stage, Pierre Roché (A110 Rally-Team FJ) won the Trophy Alpine Elf Rally 2023 thanks to his victory in the last timed sector against Ludovic Godard (A110 Rally).
Benjamin Barnouin (Clio Rally5) awaited the verdict of SS 13 to win the final round of the 2023 Clio Trophy France with 0,5 seconds ahead of Yoan Corberand (Clio Rally5).
Thomas Chauffray (Clio Rally3) won the Michelin Amateur Trophy by notably offering himself a donut “for the public” in the last special.
