Éric Brunson wins the Rallye du Touquet

Eric Brunson (Ford Fiesta WRC) won the Rally du Touquet (Pas-de-Calais), first event of the 2017 season of the French Asphalt Rally Championship. This is his 5th success on this rally and his second in a row.

The leader managed to resist pressure from Yoann Bonato (DS 3 R5) by attacking in the final stages to maintain a lead of almost 16s. Marc Amourette (DS 3 R5) completes the podium by winning the Michelin Trophy almost a minute ahead of Vincent Dubert (Skoda Fabia R5), 5th behind David Salanon (Fiesta WRC).

Fabiano Lo Fiego (Fiesta R5) took 6th place, resisting William Wagner (Fiesta R5). Pierre Ragues (Skoda) takes the points for 8th place by completing the top five in the Michelin Trophy ranking.
