Giordano leaves with Sarrazin Motorsport

Quentin Giordano will compete in a program similar to last year. The 2017 vice-champion, who notably passed through the Volant 207 and the Citroën Racing Trophy France, will be back on the Hyundai i20 R5 from Sarrazin Motorsport with which he nevertheless lacked success last year, only landing the podium three times. An overall result that he clearly wants to improve for this season.

“I wanted to continue with Sarrazin Motorsport and the Hyundai i20 R5 and that was also Stéphane Sarrazin’s wish. So it’s a good thing to have been able to put this program in place so early in the year. This should allow us to be ready from the start of the season in Le Touquet. I will be competing in my third campaign in the French Championship. I am starting to know rallying better and better and my year of experience with the Hyundai i20 R5 will be beneficial to me”, comments Quentin Giordano.

“As always, my goal will be to do my best. Last year, our final result was slightly below our expectations even though we performed much better than in 2017. We therefore want to do better this year”, adds the 32-year-old pilot.

“For our first season, Quentin confirmed that he was one of the fastest drivers in the French Championship by delivering superb performances, underlines Stéphane Sarrazin, the boss of the team of the same name. I am convinced that he still has plenty of room for improvement and that the work we are doing together will allow us to reach a new level this year. The competition promises to be ever fiercer, but we are ready for the challenge! »
