Perfect day for Cuoq at the Rallye Terre de l’Auxerrois

Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) hit the ground running at Rally Land of Auxerrois. The reigning French Rally champion took all the stage wins and returned to the service park with a lead of more than two minutes over his closest rival, Laurent Carbonaro, also at the wheel of a C4 WRC. . Lionel Baud completes the provisional podium on his Peugeot 307 WRC which is 25 seconds behind the nearest Chevron car.

Jérôme Jacquot follows less than ten seconds behind in his 207 S2000, maintaining a lead of 14 seconds over the 307 WRC of Paul Chieusse. The Championship leader was slowed down by his opening position on the road, forcing him to sweep the courses. Alain Deveza (Subaru Impreza 555) follows around ten seconds in sixth position, which he tries to protect from the attacks of Serge Gillouin's Impreza WRC.
