The Vosges Grand Est Rally towards a postponement

Le Rally Vosges Grand Est, counting for the French Asphalt Rally Championship will not take place from June 12 to 14 as planned by the organization and the FFSA, against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, which affects all sporting events in France and around the world.

Despite everything, we should not expect a postponement of months, but of a few weeks, as the steering committee wishes to organize its rally during the summer.

“Government measures and the uncertainties accompanying the dramatic health and economic crisis that we are going through do not allow us today to reasonably organize the Rallye Vosges Grand Est on its initial dates, from June 12 to 14, 2020, indicates the rally on its Facebook page.

Also, a postponement date in the middle of summer is being studied, consistent with the calendar of the French Rally Championship, with the support of the FFSA, the Ligue Grand Est du Sport Automobile and the partners of the Rallye Vosges Grand Est, and of course subject to the agreement of local authorities. »

If by chance a date could not be found before the beginning of September, the French Championship would resume with Mont-Blanc, the Antibes Rally having been postponed and the Lyon-Charbonnières and Rouergue events having been canceled .
