The Terre du Vaucluse in turn canceled

After the Cardabelles in mid-October, the end of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship cannot take place on the route planned for Terre du Vaucluse (November 13-15).

The organizers communicated their decision, following the implementation of new restrictive measures in the face of the deterioration of the situation around the coronavirus pandemic.

“It is with a heavy heart and the look of sleepless nights that we come to you, states the press release. Despite all our efforts, associated with those of our federation, primarily the president and the legal department of the FFSA, we are unfortunately unable to organize the Terre de Vaucluse 2020 in view of the latest injunctions from the state for the Vaucluse department (curfew, etc.). We are touched, but not defeated, we will find you stronger in 2021.”

In fact, only the Lozère and Terre de Castine events took place. Jean-Baptiste Franceschi (Citroën C3 R5) had until then dominated the Drivers' classification.
