Mathieu Arzeno on a program in the French Asphalt Championship in 2021

Matthew Arzeno can count on the Citroën C3 Rally2, equipped with the latest developments offered by the herringbone brand for the first rally of its 2021 program in French Asphalt Rally Championship at Le Touquet in a little over a month.

The former resident of Junior WRC and the Citroën Racing Trophy at the start of the 2010s has in fact confirmed its presence in the flagship series of French rallies this Friday, which will ride on a C3 fitted with Michelin and operated by the structure FPF Sport in collaboration with Balbosca Rally Team and Endev Engineering.

The winner of the 2017 French Rally Cup Final will be co-driven by Romain Roche. “I am confident because I will be able to approach the championship in optimal conditions within a team which has very good experience of the C3 R5, which will not be negligible compared to the championship regulars, underlines Arzeno.

We have given ourselves the means to get involved in the title race, which remains a major challenge. Is the Rally du Touquet that we are going to begin this new adventure, it is an atypical rally that should be approached with a certain caution without, however, being left behind. Finding this balance will be the key to success.

In the event of rain, as is very often the case in Le Touquet, the role of the ushers will be essential and in this area we are also solid with Loïc Astier and Charlotte Dalmasso already with us last year. »

A new top competitor for the fight for the top places, alongside Yoann Bonato, Quentin Gilbert and Quentin Giordano.
