A track racer at heart, the Caen native now devotes himself to rallying. Having become president of the Normandy League in 2021, he worked with his teams to host the Coupe de France final in 2025.

Pierre Ragues, can you introduce yourself?

I am 40 years old and have taken over the management of the family business of wholesaler of spare parts for automobiles, I am in a civil partnership and father of a 7 year old little girl, Andréa. Finally, I am a member of ASACO Pays Normand.

How did your passion for motorsport begin?

It comes to me from my father, Marcel. He mainly ran hill climbs. He also did a bit of rally… secretly from her parents. A completely different era. (Smile) I remember that we would accompany her to the south for her shopping, it was a bit like a holiday. I have very good memories of it. Dad would maintain his car in the garage and sometimes I was allowed to clean it. Even if I think that I wasted more of his time, I can see it with my daughter, it was a beautiful sharing of his passion.
