Rally France – Salanon winner at Antibes

Leader last night ahead of Sylvain Michel and Roger Feghali, David Salanon perfectly controlled the last day of the Rally from Antibes. On the roads of the South-East of France, the driver of the Ford Fiesta RS WRC concludes with a 12″7 lead over Feghali (Citroën DS3 WRC) at the end of the Lantosque – Coaraze ES, won by Feghali with a three-tenths margin over the final winner.

The podium of the event is completed by Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5) who finishes 1'18 behind Salanon. Franck Lions hoists his Ford Fiesta WRC into fourth position ahead of another Skoda Fabia R5, that of Pierre and Martine Roché, winners of the Michelin Trophy. Note today the abandonments of Franck Raynal (mechanical problem) and Eric Brunson (off the road).

Patrick Rouillard finished sixth with his Porsche 911 GT3. Yohan Rossel pockets the Citroën Racing Trophy.
