Around a hundred orders for the Peugeot 208 Rally 4

With nearly a hundred orders, Peugeot Sport has started the first deliveries of the 208 Rally 4.

The Lion had to adapt its program in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the new Sochaux mount will begin competing this weekend with the Castelo Branco Rally in Portugal with the PT Racing and Racing Factory teams who will be in charge of exploitation.

The new Peugeot 208 Rally 4 will subsequently compete in various European events with the Pribam Rallysprint (July 24-25) in the Czech Republic with the Brynda and MRS Carso teams and at the Rally di Roma at the end of August as part of theERC.

The Peugeot 208 Rally Cups will be launched at the end of summer, first at the end of August in Spain and Portugal then in France with the launch in Rally Mont-Blanc on September 4 and 5. Each brand cup will consist of 4 rounds with dirt and asphalt events, a reduced schedule due to the health context.

The Peugeot 208 Rally 4 is powered by a 1,2l 3-cylinder turbo developing 208hp and 290Nm of torque. The Sadev sequential gearbox is 5 speeds. The Lioness has a mechanical self-locking differential and a 3-way adjustable suspension. The total empty weight is 1080kg.

Peugeot Sport sells the 208 Rally 4 at a price of €66 excluding VAT in a dirt or asphalt version with a kit adaptable to one of the two surfaces at a price of €000 excluding VAT. The complete equipment is available at €8990. The estimated cost per kilometer (excluding fluids) is estimated at €3990.
