Back in first place at the end of the morning after seeing the panel of stewards reallocate his time after the exit of Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) in SS 3, Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store ) took advantage of the second loop contested this Saturday afternoon to increase his lead over Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto).

Satisfied with his choice of tires for this second loop, the Oreca Store-supported driver set four best times out of five possible this afternoon.

With a lead of almost 25 seconds before the last four special stages scheduled for the third and final stage, the driver from Nice is very close to a second victory in the French Championship.

Runner-up to Ciamin at the end of this second day, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) has only one idea in mind: to bring his Citroën back to the final podium tomorrow to finally fully enjoy his fourth World Championship title. France.

Certainly left behind by the two leaders, Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ) is in third place in addition to his lead of almost a minute over Patrick Rouillard (Fabia Rally2-Rouillard Sport) in the Michelin “R5” Trophy.

The Robert show

Behind these four Rally2s, we find a trio of wild drivers at the wheel of theAlpine A110 Rally. After losing more than a minute during the morning loop after a poor choice of tires, Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Bonneton HDG) attempted a gamble for the second lap.

A successful bet for the Stéphanois who erased his outlay to get the better of Julien Saunier (A110 Rally-Sébastien Loeb Racing Bardhal) and François Delecour (A110 Rally). Having moved up to first place in the R-GT16, Cédric Robert remains in the match for the title of French 2WD Champion against Romain di Fante (Clio RSR Rally5), also leader of his Class (RC5).

In the 208 Rally Cup, Hugo Margaillan (208 Rally4-CHL Sport Auto) is in the lead with a comfortable lead of more than 2 minutes over his main pursuer: Thibaud Cellier (208 Rally). The title is getting a little closer for the Puget driver.

At the top of the women's ranking and close to a first title of French Women's Rally Champion, Sarah Rumeau (208 Rally4) would see herself end the season with a victory and a title.

Unfortunately, the last special of the day was marked by the big crash of Jean-Baptiste Franceschi (Clio Rally4) while he was engaged in a high-flying duel with Stéphane Lefebvre (Corsa GS Line Rally4-Cilti) for the victory in RC4.

You will have to be early tomorrow, the start of SS 13 is scheduled for 7:20 a.m.

The ranking at the end of the 2nd stage.
