Adrien Fourmaux wins the Jim Clark Rally

Adrien fourmaux continues its good start to the season. After a success at the Jännerrallye in January in Austria, then another at the Malcolm Wilson Rally during the opening of the BRC (British Rally Championship), the northern driver has just added a victory to the Jim Clark. Run around Duns in Scotland, this asphalt round included 8 stages and 107,64 km timed.

At the wheel of his Fiesta Rally2 which has clearly made progress since the start of the season, Fourmaux took the lead from SS1 then opened up decisive gaps in the next one. With a margin of 28'1 on the 2e On Saturday morning, he did not take any risks, particularly because it was impossible for him to operate his tires correctly in very cold temperatures. He finally won with 19′ over Keith Cronin, double winner on this field.

With this 2e success across the Channel, the Frenchman prances at the head of the BRC. His task will surely be more complicated for the next meeting which will take place in Ypres (June 24-26), a rally with whom the Ford driver has a score to settle after his two spectacular accidents. Before this meeting the French crew will make a detour to Sardinia for the 6e WRC2 round.
