At M-Sport, Tänak’s Top 5 in Monte-Carlo brings satisfaction

M-Sport est bien loin de l’époque où Sébastien Loeb was doing wonders behind the wheel of the Ford Puma and fighting for victory in the Rally Monte Carlo. One after 8^e victory of the Alsatian in the Monaco event, the English structure experienced a very complicated weekend where Ott Tänak simply couldn't do anything.

De retour chez les Anglais après un exil chez Toyota and Hyundai, le champion du monde 2019 a assisté impuissant à la démonstration de force des machines nippones. Leur domination fut telle que seul Thierry Neuville, twice, was able to steal a time from them in this 91^e Monte Carlo. But despite this performance gap and the 5^e instead of Ott Tänak, it was not a time for sadness in the ranks of M-Sport.

« It was a good weekend overall, we learned a lot and we also covered a lot of kilometers, » he reflected on arrival. An opinion shared by its general manager Malcolm Wilson. “ Ott had a smart rally.
