If there is a rally that Dani Sordo appreciates and feels comfortable with is the one from Italy. On his three successes achieved in WRC since the start of his career, the current pilot Hyundai obtained two in Italian lands.

A strong man in recent seasons on the Sardinian side, the native of Torrelavega (Spain) arrives there with the firm intention of establishing his domination there a little more. Winner of the last two editions of the Sardinian event, the Iberian hopes to leave Italy with a third victory in his bags.

« The last two years in Italy ended with very good results for me, he admits as he prepares to attack the race weekend. In both cases, I managed to win the rally so it’s logically an event that I enjoy. I feel good there ».

On the podium in Portugal, Dani Sordo intends to take advantage of his high-performance i20 but also of his starting position on the first day (7th) to be among the contenders for final victory.

« I would have an advantage with my starting position (Friday) so I'm really looking forward to it, continues the Hyundai driver. It was great to get on the podium at Rally Portugal but we are coming to Sardinia to fight for victory ". The competition is warned.
