Dani Sordo ready to dive in Sardinia?

During the last four editions of the Sardinian rally, the Spaniard has won twice. Well placed in the starting order and feeling confident after his podium in Portugal, will the Hyundai driver make a third jump into Italian waters as tradition dictates?

Le palmarès de Dani Sordo est étonnant. Au cours des 185 épreuves du Championnat du monde auxquelles il a pris part, il n’est parvenu à monter sur la première marche qu’à trois occasions. Longtemps catalogué comme un pilote asphalte, Dani ne compte pourtant qu’un succès sur cette surface (Allemagne 2013). Les deux autres ont été conquis sur la terre de l’île de Sardaigne en 2019 et 2020. La manche italienne se profile justement, en cette fin de semaine. Permettra-t-elle à l’Espagnol d’enrichir son palmarès ? Par la même occasion, offrira-t-il la première victoire à Hyundai cette saison tout en rendant hommage à son ancien compagnon d’écurie Craig Breen ?
