Ten Rally1s will be lined up in the Canaries, with five Toyota, three Hyundai and two Fords M-Sport. As we announced to you on Monday morning, Sébastien Ogier will definitely be there, a last-minute participation for the eight-time French world champion. The Gapençais will join the four regulars, namely Kalle Rovanperä, Takamoto Katsuta, Sami Pajari and the championship leader, Elfyn Evans.

For Hyundai and M-Sport Ford, no changes: the Korean clan will trust its three drivers, Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak et Adrien fourmaux, and the British team will trust us with Grégoire Munster and Josh McErlean. Note that before the event, Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville will compete in the Sierra Morena Rally (April 3-6), opening round of the 2025 ERC season, to learn how Hankook tires work on asphalt.

As usual, the Rally2 field is the largest with 38 cars entered. For the second asphalt event of the season, after Monte-Carlo, there will be a number of French drivers, including brothers Yohan and Léo Rossel for Citroën – PH Sport, as well as Mathieu Franceschi in a Toyota Yaris, who will be making his world championship debut in the Canary Islands.

Oliver Solberg will also be present but will not be able to score points for the WRC2 championship. Emil Lindholm, WRC2 champion in 2022, will make his return to competition with the Skoda Fabia of the Toksport team, alongside Nikolay Gryazin. In the lower category, in Rally3, three Frenchmen will be fighting for victory in the Canary Islands Rally: Arthur Pelamourgues and Mattéo Chatillon in a Renault Clio, and Ghjuvanni Rossi on a Ford Fiesta.
