The opportunist Adrien fourmaux has struck again, and it feels good. In a Rally from Finland who did not start in the best way, the Northerner advanced in the shadows waiting for the mistakes of his rivals.
Fifth Friday evening almost 50 seconds from the lead, the driver M-Sport took advantage of the missteps of Elfyn Evans on Saturday and especially of leader Kalle Rovanperä during the penultimate special of the weekend to climb the rankings. So he slipped onto the third step of the box behind Thierry Neuville et the winner Sébastien Ogier to achieve his 4th career podium after Sweden, Kenya and more recently Poland.

« I'm really happy that it ended like this after a difficult start for us, without testing and without preparation, underlined Adrien Fourmaux. I'm really happy to get on the podium, it's good for France. A fourth podium is always good, especially in Finland."
From now on, the Habs are in 5th place in the championship with 119 points and only 18 lengths from 3rd place held by Ott Tänak, forced to retire on Friday in this Rally of Finland.
