As Monte Carlo (January 23-26) approaches, uncertainty reigns on the side of M-Sport. With the English, it has become a tradition. They are always waiting, doubts hover, but finally they are there. Although it is not surprising, the announcement of the continuation of the collaboration with Grégoire Munster and Louis Louka brings two pieces of good news.
First of all, barring a reversal of the situation, Malcolm Wilson and his structure will be present in 2025 with at least one car. Then, by trusting the Luxembourger again, the team continues its mission after hopes.
« I really enjoyed working with Grégoire and Louis this year, explains team manager Richard Millener. So having them back in 2025 is very positive for me. They have made huge progress in their first appearance and I think they fully deserve this opportunity. Even though we have to be realistic about the goals and expectations we have in 2025, it is a great opportunity for them. I am very happy to work with this tandem again for a full season. »
Having discovered the Puma in 2023 with two positive participations in Chile (13e) and in Central Europe (7e), the 25-year-old driver was able to compete in the entire 2024 championship at the wheel of the American. Although he made a few small mistakes, sometimes with serious consequences (Monte-Carlo, Portugal, Acropolis), he also set some interesting times at the end of the year, demonstrating his progress (Japan). Fifth on three occasions during the completed season (Sardinia, Central Europe, Japan), the Luxembourger will have higher goals in the months to come. I am really looking forward to next year and the opportunity to drive the Puma again, especially within the successful M-Sport structure., he says. I am also happy to continue with Louis, with the aim of continuing our progression in the higher category. »
Appearing as the No. 1 driver for M-Sport, Grégoire will be able to benefit from the test sessions and he will have to rely on the experience acquired to aim higher. Of course, we will try to improve our best ranking so far., he confirms. I hope we can aim for the podium. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do. »
While it has not yet been specified with whom Grégoire Munster will collaborate in 2025, he is leaving with the same navigator. I am very happy to be back in the team, comments Louis Louka. I hope we can use the experience gained last year to improve. For young crews like us, it is a real privilege to be involved in the full championship and to be able to benefit from the expertise of M-Sport. »
The announcement of Grégoire Munster's continuation with M-Sport did not really come as a surprise since both parties wanted to continue the adventure. The latter undoubtedly still owes a lot to the financial intervention of Jourdan Serderidis, who remains discreet about his involvement, but who must be congratulated. The final doubt at M-Sport concerns who will accompany Munster in its 2025 campaign. Will there be a single crew or will there be several sharing the 2e car ?
