Invited for a promotional operation, François Delecour was able to test the Hyundai i20 Rally1 with his son on a section of asphalt road. The on-board camera video is mind-blowing!

At 59, François Delecour remained a big child. “Brake late” still likes to delight his supporters during his participations in rally, the last dating back to Monte-Carlo 2022 on a Alpine A110 R-GT (3rd in category).

Judging by the bulging gaze of son Mathys, his cries of surprise as he passes a bump or the father's grimace, we can deduce that the ride must have been rich in sensations. This video has since been deleted.

François Delecour will find a Alpine A110 R-GT on the occasion of Rally du Touquet (March 17-19), which will be the opening of the 2022 French Rally Championship.

This test, carried out as part of a promotional operation, is reminiscent of François Delecour's (much more serious) test on a Hyundai Accent WRC at the turn of the 2000s. The information was revealed by AUTOhebdo ; we saw the French pilot there, dressed in his official pilot clothes Peugeot Sport, sous la tente Hyundai !
