Few teams change their livery from the second round of the season. However, this is what will do Hyundai since the Rally from Sweden (February 15-18). The Korean manufacturer, victorious at the Monte-Carlo Rally with Thierry Neuville for the opening of the 2024 championship, will wear a new dress in Scandinavia and for the rest of the season.

However, Hyundai has a good reason: this year, the team led by Cyril Abiteboul celebrates its tenth anniversary in WRC. On this occasion, the new livery proudly displays the N logo on the sides of the Rally1, N being Hyundai's motorsport division. For the rest of the livery, no real surprise: the red – dark blue – sky blue colors are still there, as is the homage paid to Craig Breen with a #ForCraig. Hyundai specifies that the livery worn during the Monte-Carlo Rally “has been removed” to celebrate the victory of the Neuville – Wydaeghe tandem at Monte-Carlo and will no longer be used in 2024.

“As some of our colleagues celebrate the Lunar New Year, we are also marking a fresh start with an all-new livery for the remainder of the WRC season, says Cyril Abiteboul, president of Hyundai Motorsport and team principal. The design was created to pay tribute to our close working relationship with Hyundai N and Hyundai Motor Company, and complements their celebrations of ten years at the pinnacle of rallying. Starting the 2024 season with a victory at one of the most iconic events in WRC history was an incredible moment, ten years after our very first Rallye Monte-Carlo, and it is only fitting that the colors of Monte-Carlo of Thierry and Martijn be commemorated in the history books. »
