Josh McErlean returns to Ireland for the Donegal International Rally

The prodigy will soon be returning home. He is currently in Japan to compete in the seventh round of the World Rally Championship, M-Sport It has been announced that Irish driver Josh McErlean will be competing in the upcoming Donegal International Rally in Ireland, a round of the national asphalt championship. The event, taking place on June 19th, 20th, and 21st, will be the fifth round of the calendar and is historically one of the most anticipated events of the year there. M-Sport sends its protégés back across the Channel

This isn't the first time M-Sport has sent its players to national championships, especially in Great Britain. Josh McErlean's last appearance in a national event in Ireland, however, wasn't that long ago, dating back to 2025.
