Kalle Rovanperä, the multitasking man. Equally comfortable on dirt, snow and asphalt in WRC, the youngest world rally champion is also a big fan of an even more technical category: drifting.
The Finn is so passionate about the discipline that he announced his participation in four rounds of the European Drift Masters Championship, the toughest competition on the Old Continent. At the wheel of a Toyota Supra A90 prepared by his own team, Kalle Rovanperä will participate in rounds in Sweden, Finland, Germany and Poland.

For Rovanperä, the main objective will be “to have fun!” »
The 22-year-old got his first taste of high-level drift competition in Ireland last year. In 2023, he adds four drift rounds to his 13-event WRC program. The Toyota driver will face stars of the discipline like James Deane, Piotr Więcek, Conor and Jack Shanahan.
“I love drifting and I'm excited as it's a very competitive category, rejoiced the WRC world champion. Of course, the level is really high in Drift Masters and we still have a long way to go as I haven't had too much driving in the car. Our main goal will be to have fun! » The 2023 Drift Masters European Championship begins in Ireland on May 6-7. Kalle Rovanperä will join the battle for the first time in the second round, in Sweden (June 9-10).
