Que ressentez-vous après ce premier triplé Hyundai à l’issue de l’un des rallyes les plus durs du calendrier ?

Julien Moncet: It's an incredible feeling for the whole team. We are in WRC since 2014 and we have never achieved such a result before. We are on a positive dynamic, but we must be careful not to be too positive. We know we need to improve the car in many aspects.

Is this a first year for Hyundai?

JM: Yes, it was really important for us to go 1-2-3. This season we won for the first time in Finland and I think it's also the first time we have three wins in a row. If you look back, at the start of 2022, we were having huge difficulties. We knew we would struggle in Monte Carlo because we were behind in development, in parts, in everything... Little by little, we improved the car. I was pretty sure it would happen because the team was still there, the infrastructure is still the same, so there was no reason why we couldn't do it again, we just ran out of time .

The next event will take place in New Zealand. What will be your goal in Auckland?

JM: Why not make it four wins in a row? No, let's take the appointments one by one. We must not forget that we had some good events during the season and then Kenya was very, very difficult. Maybe what we learned in Kenya paid off in Greece, because it showed us what we need to improve on these demanding races. Reliability was a key point this weekend. In New Zealand it will be a rally different. We will therefore have to be very careful when approaching it.
