Is the points scale for the 2025 season fairer than that of 2024?

The WRC is set to adopt a third different points scale in three years, after using a complex and much-criticised system in 2024. Is this 2025 version of the scale, which is supposed to revalue overall victory, any fairer?

This is a change that will please both drivers and spectators! In 2025, the WRC will get rid of the points system used last year to adopt a new one, supposedly clearer but above all, fairer. Last season, the championship had tried to reinvigorate the rally and in particular Sunday by offering three different scales: a distribution of points based on the Saturday evening ranking, then another scale for Sunday only (called "Super Sunday") and finally the classic Power Stage at the end of the rally. However, to receive the points awarded on Saturday evening, the condition was to finish the rally and not abandon on Sunday. It's difficult to see very clearly, therefore.
