Kenya does not change its tracks

The teams are notified. For the second visit of the Rally1 hybrids to the Rift Valley, the route is almost similar to that of 2022. This means two things. First of all, the very damaged portions which had caused mechanical breakdowns or punctures will still be present and will probably not have improved. Then, the fesh-fesh sectors, this very dense dust which penetrates everywhere and which also caused damage in 2021 and 2022, will again be negotiated. With such parameters, victory at the end of the 362,68 km timed divided into 19 stages will not be decided primarily by speed.

Firste The season's event (June 22-25) is still based at the Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute (training center for the country's park rangers) in the town of Naivasha, which is located 2 hours' drive north of Nairobi. At the end of the reconnaissance, the crews will carry out the shakedown on Wednesday morning then they will return to the capital of Kenya to participate in the starting ceremony and the first SS which takes place each time in a very special atmosphere. The rest of the division is identical to that of 2022 with the only change being the replacement of the Narasha chrono (fatal to Ott Tänak 12 months ago) by that of Malewa where Adrien fourmaux had signed the scratch in 2021.
