The route and program for the next Rally of Sardinia have been revealed, while the Sardinian event will celebrate its 20th edition in 2023.

The route of the 20th edition of the Sardinia Rally revealed

For its 20th edition, the Rally from Sardinia wants to mark the occasion. In addition to a special 20th anniversary logo, the organizers have revealed the route that will be taken by the plateau of the WRC, from June 1 to 4, 2023. Rally support will return to Olbia, which hosted the event from 2014 to 2020. The four-day itinerary will feature 19 special stages for a total of 334,05 timed kilometers.

If the Sardinia Rally will kick off on Thursday evening, for a 3,23 kilometer mixed surface Super Special, hostilities will really begin the next morning with a very busy schedule. Three stages, each completed twice before and after mid-day service, will await them on Friday. The competitors will challenge Tantariles (10,66 km), which hosted the first test of the very first edition of the rally, in 2004. The route will then take them to Monte Lerno (and the famous Micky's Jump), extended this year to… 49,92 .13,62 km! The Terranova special (XNUMX km) will complete the two loops.

An equally busy day on Saturday, with 136 kilometers of special on the program, with two passages in Coiluna-Loelle (16,33 km), Su Filigosu (19,49 km), Erula – Tula (22,26 km) and Tempio Pausania (10,09 km). Finally, the last stage will consist of 4 special stages for the final sprint. Arzachena Braniatogghiu (15,25 km) and Aglientu (7,79 km) will be covered twice, the second passage in the latter will count for the Power Stage.
