The WRC returning to Africa?

The promoters of WRC are currently studying the possibility of returning to Africa. If this interest remains at the project stage for the moment, the discussions are progressing well since South Africa already seems to be the country favored by the discipline to compete in an event.

Simon Long, promoter of the WRC, recognized that Africa was of interest to the discipline. “We would like Africa to be represented and we are seriously interested in several countries”, says Simon Long, reported by motorstv. “It would be very exciting to come back here. If we have the right people in the right places, things can move forward very quickly. »

Paul Turner, another recognized personality in the WRC, would like to see an event take place in South Africa. “I think that one rally in South Africa can provide an exciting and demanding event for the Championship. »
