Loeb: Victory is not imperative in New Zealand

The eight-time world rally champion currently occupies first place in the championship, 30 points ahead of his teammate Finn Mikki Hirvonen. Loeb therefore does not want to take any unnecessary risks in New Zealand, even if he would be tempted to fight for victory if the opportunity presented itself to him.

« The stages demand a lot and it's a rally complicated » , confides Loeb. “  It's hard to know how the weather will behave because here, even when the sun is shining, it can rain! The most important thing is to have a good feeling with the car, that's what counts in this rally. »

« Victory is not imperative on this rally, but you always want to fight for victory when you can. Let's see how things develop. »
