Mikkelsen at the end of the suspense in WRC2

If Rovanperä crushed Rally1, WRC2 was exciting until the last kilometers. Heckled by an unlucky Teemu Suninen, the Norwegian won and regained the lead in the championship.

The equation was simple for Mikkelsen. If the Norwegian had the ideal start to the season with two successes in Monte-Carlo and in Sweden, he then bit the dust. In Portugal and Sardinia, the Skoda Fabia Toksport driver was forced to retire and saw all his rivals come back on him.
