Victory objective for Andreas Mikkelsen in Estonia

In WRC2, the seventh round of the season looks promising. In addition to providing a strong roster of 19 competitors, the competition brings together an astonishing variety in nationalities with 12 countries represented. At the wheel of his Skoda Fabia from the Toksport team, Andreas Mikkelsen is the favorite. The latter, however, is in a complicated situation after recording two drawn results due to mechanical problems in Portugal and Sardinia. If he wants to keep his chances of retaining his crown acquired last year, the Oslo driver must manage to fill part of the 15 units he has on Kajetan Kajetanowicz.

The Pole is the one who has had the best start to the season so far. With 3 podiums, including a victory at the Safari, “Katjo” dominates the championship and has the advantage of having only run 3 rallies compared to 4 for Mikkelsen or Yohan Rossel. Second in WRC2 with 3 points behind, the PH-Sport member is absent in Estonia, but he will closely follow the progress of the event. He can indeed hope that competitors like Teemu Suninen (i20), Jari Huttunen (Fiesta), Egon Kaur (Polo), Emil Lindholm (Fabia) or Hayden Paddon (i20), who are not dangerous for the title, will shake up the situation. hierarchy and ahead of Mikkelsen and Kajetanowicz.
