Ogier: “It’s still hard to establish a hierarchy”

Sébastien Ogier won for the 4th consecutive time the Rally Monte-Carlo dès sa première participation avec M-Sport au volant de la Ford Fiesta WRC. If the four-time world champion remained at the forefront throughout the event, he nevertheless benefited from the misfortunes of Thierry Neuville who lost several tens of minutes in the penultimate stage while he was in the lead.

“It’s still hard to establish a hierarchy. It's really hard to know who makes a big difference or who dominates the others and that bodes well for the Championship, commented Sébastien Ogier at a press conference held after the finish. I hope we all have close performances because it will be a good thing for the sport, but I also hope to continue winning. »

Sébastien Ogier is already thinking about the Swedish Rally from February 11 to 14 where he will aim for a third victory in a row.

“The Fiesta has always performed very well in Sweden and I see nothing stopping me from approaching Sweden with confidence”, warned the winner of the Monte-Carlo Rally.
