Ostberg on a Ford Fiesta, Mikkelsen towards an absence in Sweden
The organizers of the second round of the 2017 World Championship held in Sweden from February 10 to 12 have presented a first version of the entry list.
The threesomes Ogier - Thank you –Evans (who will compete in the season under the Dmack colors) at the house of M-Sport, Neuville – Sordo – Paddon at Hyundai, Meek – Breen – Lefebvre (the latter on a DS3) at Citroën, and the tandem Latvala – Hänninen at Toyota constitute the backbone of the entry list.
As he announced, Mads Ostberg will be at the start of the winter round on a WRC 2017, which will be a Ford Fiesta. Lorenzo Bertelli will be entered in the WRC Trophy with a Ford Fiesta just like Valeriy Gorban (Mini).
In R5, the Ford Fiesta R5s of Eric Camilli and Teemu Suninen, confirmed this morning by M-Sport, will be opposed to the Skoda Fabia R5 of Pontus Tidemand or the Ford Fiesta R5 of Alexey Lukyanuk, Eyvind Brynildsen, but also the Citroën DS3 R5 of Pierre-Louis Loubet.
2016 World RX runner-up Johan Kristoffersson will also be there with a Skoda Fabia R5. No trace, however, for the moment of Andreas Mikkelsen, who will contest the Rally Monte Carlo on a Skoda Fabia R5. The list below must now be confirmed by the FIA.
