Ott Tänak, Hyundai's best chance?

In the five-on-three battle between Toyota and Hyundai, the Koreans' best asset appears to be the Estonian. Aside from being the highest-ranked driver in the championship, he has demonstrated consistency and reliability that could allow him to give the Yaris crews a hard time.

Reading the final ranking of the recent rally of Sardinia is worth all the speeches. Ranking 2nd, the Hyundai i20 d'Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja literally ended up surrounded by the Toyota. That of Sébastien Ogier occupied the top, then the Estonian crew had five other Yaris on their tails, the four official Rally1s and Oliver Solberg's Rally2. Without the Korean interposed, the Italian event would have turned into a Toyota demonstration. And to think that this trip is one of those on which the Yaris is usually the least comfortable...
