Pierre-Louis Loubet and Vincent Landais end their collaboration

This start to the season is definitely not the best for the co-drivers. Like Teemu Suninen and Jarmo Lehtinen; Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul or even Dani Sordo and Carlos Del Barrio, Pierre-Louis Loubet and Vincent Landais have also confirmed the end of their relationship after six years together.

« If we have decided by mutual agreement to part ways here on a professional level with Vincent Landais, nothing will ever taint this beautiful story of friendship between us., writes Pierre-Louis Loubet.

We grew up together, going through the good times and the tougher times. I am sure that he, like me, will grow even more after this decision. Have a good trip my friend ».

Pierre-Louis Loubet and Vincent Landais began their collaboration during the 2015 Tour de Corse. Since then, the two men have won the WRC2 title in 2019 and before making their debut in the premier category of the world rally championship.

The 24-year-old driver has not indicated the identity of his next co-driver but he should soon do so since the Rally of Portugal takes place from May 20 to 23.
