Which third driver for Hyundai?

After ejecting Oliver Solberg, the Koreans must find a replacement. The list of candidates is not extensive and it should only include boys who have already played for a manufacturer.

Which third driver for Hyundai?

Before answering this question, the leaders of the team based in Alzenau in Germany must be certain that they will only have one crew to hire for 2023. Doubt indeed hovers over the future ofOtt Tänak. Le Norvégien possède comme atout d’être un ami de Thierry Neuville who would appreciate seeing the return of the 33-year-old Viking with whom relations would be less frosty than with Tänak. If Mikkelsen is retained for the full-time position, that will make one less candidate for the intermittent role. This will be partly contested by Dani Sordo. The Spaniard, who will be 40 next year, was thinking of stopping, but he should come back and take part in the 14 rounds of 2023. In order for this shared program to work, Sordo must be associated with someone who appreciates fast rallies on land like Estonia, Finland…which would be very suitable for Craig Breen.

Réussir à faire revenir Sébastien Loeb would make sense as the Alsatian can still record very good results, but it is not certain that his choices in the calendar would be very far from those of Dani Sordo. At the finish, if it was easy to dismiss the hope on which the team claimed to bet a lot, compose an ideal duo for the 3e auto is perhaps not so easy of that. The entry list for Japan has not yet been revealed, but it could include a surprise. If Andreas Mikkelsen joins the team, why not introduce him to the car immediately?
