Rally Chile: Yohan Rossel in spicy mode in WRC2

Disappointed by a first day ending in a modest 7th place Yohan Rossel, Arnaud Dunand and all the members of the PH-Sport team present in Chile re-mobilized. At the end of a very solid 2nd stage, the C3 is now 4th.

The atmosphere was a little gloomy on Friday evening in the Concepción service park. The day had indeed been difficult to negotiate with few positive points to make up for. The difference was obvious from the first stretch on Saturday. Second time in the special, the Citroën crew immediately got into a different dynamic.

« I think the road profile suited us better today, summarized Yohan. One of the parameters we didn't have to deal with was the massive sweep yesterday. There are days when everything adds up against you and that was the case on Friday. We did a major reset last night with the team, telling ourselves that we had to try things today. It paid off. We know our weak points. We know that we have a usage range that is quite narrow. I'm really happy, because doing so many kilometers to experience such a frustrating stage as yesterday was complicated. There was a lot of fun today. »

Author of three scratches out of the 6 possible, the tricolor pair brooded by the PH-Sport team made a good comeback. They now occupy 4e overall place with another 24 seconds to go on Sami Pajari to climb onto the podium. To achieve this, they will have 5 special stages and 4 km timed on Sunday.

« We will see what can be done, concluded the Gardois. We don't have much to lose so I'm going to watch what's going to happen ahead, but still driving fast. »
