Even before taking off his helmet at the finish of the final special stage near Peïra-Cava, on the heights of Nice, Yohan Rossel's voice was cracking with emotion. Even more than his 3rd consecutive success in WRC2 at Monte-Carlo, it was the prospect of sharing the podium with his younger brother Léo Rossel (3rd) that seemed to shake up the Gardois. There was also doubtless the relief of duty accomplished, because this success should not have escaped him since the publication of the list of participants.
