As the first special of the Rally of Greece this Thursday at the end of the day, the pilots of the WRC had the opportunity to hit the road early in the morning to take the temperature.

4.25 kilometers long, the Shakedown offered entrants a foretaste of the conditions expected this weekend. While heavy rains have fallen on the region in recent days, Ogier, Evans and company rode on mud roads rather than dirt. And in this game, it was Kalle Rovanperä who did the best.

With three passes under his belt, the pilot of the Toyota Gazoo Racing set the best time of the morning with a time of 3'14"3 relegating its closest pursuer, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), at 2“7. Third at the end of the Shakedown, Ott Tänak (Hyundai), looking for an opportunity to relaunch in Greece, finished just over 3 seconds behind the morning's benchmark.

Leader of the world championship, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) was discreet for the first outing of the weekend. With three passes, the seven-time world champion ranked 6th, behind his teammate Elfyn Evans and Dani Sordo (Hyundai), 6 from Kalle Rovnaperä.
