Rovanperä leads in Estonia, Hyundai suffers

In the lead yesterday after SS1, Kalle Rovanperä consolidates his lead after the first half-day today. The Finn is ahead Craig Breen for only 4 seconds 8. His position in the starting order greatly helps both drivers.

Behind we find Sebastien Ogier. The French driver managed this Friday perfectly, placing himself provisionally on the podium. However, he is 33 seconds behind his Toyota teammate. It will continue to open the road until the end of the day, which is a big disadvantage on dirt rallies. The reigning world champion is waiting to know where he stands tomorrow to hope for victory or not.

Car derrière, les ennuis s’enchainent pour Hyundai. Ott Tanäk, qui mener devant son public a connu deux crevaisons. L’Estonien n’a pas pu terminer l’ES4 et a été contraint à l’abandon. Il reprendra le rally tomorrow but victory slipped away again for him after a problem with the suspensions. Puncture also for Thierry Neuville. The Belgian driver, well on his way to scoring a podium, lost 15 seconds in SS4. He is currently ranked 4th, 40 seconds behind the leader and 7 off the podium. 

Also note the retirement of Katsuta (Toyota) before the last special of the morning.
