While the crews have already competed in two times in the dry during Friday afternoon, the last of the loop, that of Kedong (31,50 km) should be run in the rain or at least on a wet road. A little over an hour before the start of the 6th special of the day, the first drops were seen at the start of the section.
So far, all the competitors have talked about this possibility and everyone was dreading the moment when it would happen. Inherently difficult, Kedong could become even more complicated depending on the amount and distance covered in the rain.
If it were to upset the rankings this Friday, it could happen again tomorrow, since new showers are forecast for Saturday.
