Sébastien Loeb Timeless

His period Hyundai in 2019 and 2020 had left a painful memory for Sébastien Loeb. Certainly, there was a 3rd place in Chile and another in Turkey, but overall the Alsatian never seemed to be in harmony with the i20, particularly on the asphalt. Even if he claims that he does not attach much importance to his image, his performances had raised questions, first and foremost among himself. Had Sébastien Loeb had one season too many? Champions are often proud. Did he want to take his revenge on this short Korean interlude? To achieve this, however, he did not have the best arguments at the start of this 90th edition.

Competing in rallies is what Sébastien Loeb enjoys most in motorsport. In recent years, however, he has not managed to ride much, his last appearance in WRC dating from Turkey in September 2020. Even if he is often behind the wheel of a racing car, could he lack rhythm at the start of this Monte-Carlo?
