Sparkling again, Sébastien Loeb once again took the lead in a rally and was a serious candidate for victory. The enormous lack of reliability which affected the M-Sport team did not allow it to conclude. The team must reconsider so that this does not happen again.

Suddenly, in a glance, Sébastien Loeb and Isabelle Galmiche understood. They had already been immersed in the front right side of their Puma hybrid for a long time trying to find a solution to repair an alternator belt problem. A better knowledge of the beast's innards might have helped them, but it was too late to regret that aspect. Time was passing, there were pieces of Ford everywhere and the next special stage was not very close. Disqualification from the race was hanging over their heads, so the Alsatian grabbed the phone he rarely leaves and announced to the team that it was over for the day. Infuriating. The Frenchman had in fact just achieved one of his performances in which no one (apart from his teams)
